A New Shower for a Deserving Veteran, Baths for the Brave Event
On November 8, 2018, MaxHome joined nine other home companies to honor veterans with the Baths for the Brave event. This collaborative effort, which occurs every year, provides bathroom remodels for 10 deserving veterans spread across the United States. The goal of this event is to improve the lives of veterans who were disabled due to their time in the military or have found that taking care of simple tasks, such as bathing, is a hardship. During this special day, MaxHome and the other participating companies go to the homes of pre-selected veterans to install a new bathtub or shower, changing the lives of people who have fought so hard for our freedom.
Paul Dunn, U.S. Air Force
At the 2018 Baths for the Brave event, MaxHome honored veteran Paul Dunn who served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Paul received a newly remodeled shower from MaxHome, and we were so grateful to meet Paul, talk to him about his time in the military, and give him a brand-new shower.
A Yearly Event for Veterans
Baths for the Brave happens every Veteran’s Day and brings together home companies that want to give back to their communities and make a difference.
